SUMMARY:Play 500+ Board Games
DESCRIPTION:Our library has over 500 board games\, both classic and modern.\n–Want to keep it simple with something like Monopoly or Jenga? We’ve got you covered. What something more modern like Catan or Ticket to ride? We’ve got those too. Want something brand spankin’ new you can’t even buy in the stores yet? WE’VE GOT THOSE TOO.\n–\nGame passes are $5/person for 2 hours and are first come first served for tables. We have lots of tools to help you choose a game (see our game picker linked below\,) learn a game without actually reading the rules (most games are stickered with a QR code that takes you to a how to play video….for those of you that hate reading rulebooks) or you can even bring in your own game/DND group/etc. Same game pass pricing applies.\n–PLUS we have snacks\, drinks\, alcohol\, cats (in their separate lounge but viewable from the cafe side through large windows) and all the good vibes.\n20% of the profits from our food\, drink and merch sales go back to our partner rescues. Hang out. Buy stuff. Help cats.\n–\nCheck out our full game list here:https://scratchingpostcu.com/game-table-reservations/\n–\nSee what our Game Picker suggests for you here: https://gamepicker.scratchingpostcu.com/

SUMMARY:Board Game Concierge Night - Learn to Play ARCS
DESCRIPTION:What You Get\nIn June our board game concierge will teach you to rule the galaxy with your court\, fleet\, and cities in ARCS! \nARCS is a highly rated sharp\, tactical space opera game set in a dark yet silly universe. Players represent officials from a distant\, decaying and neglectful Empire who are now free to vie for dominance whether through battle\, gathering scarce resources or diplomatic intrigue. Ready yourself for dramatic twists and turns as you launch into this galactic struggle. \nSome modern board game experience is necessary.  We will have the game setup when you arrive\, do a full teach of the rules and answer any questions along the way\, but these are much more complex games that will likely be difficult for someone brand new to the hobby. \nTicket includes full setup/teach/questions answered for the duration of the game\, your game pass for the entire day\, one free drink and a button for completing the concierge game!  You should expect any concierge game to take a minimum of 2 hours to complete. \nMore Info\nOne ticket per person. \nIt is always helpful to arrive 10-15 minutes early to park\, get your drink/snacks and get settled at your table.  Parking info can be found here. \nIf you love the game\, we can order a brand new copy for you.  We donate 20% of the profits from our food\, drink and merch sales back to our partner non-profit rescues\, so buying a game from us levels up your good vibes. 😎 \nJune Concierge Game Schedule\nARCS is currently on hold and will be rescheduled soon!  We apologize for any inconvenience!
