DESCRIPTION:The Scratching Post CU is hosting our very first Cat Walk Fundraiser! \n\nWhen\nSunday\, Oct 11\, 2pm\n\nWhere\nRegister below and we’ll email you the start location before the event! It will be somewhere in the Champaign/Urbana area\, depending on the locations of those who submit this form to add their cat on the map.  The stretch between Prospect/Mattis and Church/Springfield is looking promising!\n \nDifficulty\nVery leisurely walk that we plan to keep under 3 miles.  Feel free to join in or bow out at any point. \n\nWhat’s a Cat Walk Fundraiser? \nOriginating out of Minneapolis\, a Cat Walk Fundraiser combines neighborhood pride with profound cat appreciation\, all while raising funds for the shelters and organizations who work tirelessly to find cats their forever homes. DESCRIPTION:Spend 50 minutes in our cat lounges with 20+ adoptable cats. Your reservation not only helps to cover the cost of their care\, but it also helps to socialize them\, even if you aren’t looking to adopt. Thank you!\n–\nAll of our cats come from local non-profit rescues and 100% of their adoption fee goes to the originating rescue. They are all spayed/neutered\, microchipped\, vaccinated and tested for many common pathogens.\n–\nAdvance reservations are the only way to guarantee time in the lounge. DESCRIPTION:Our library has over 500 board games\, both classic and modern.\n–Want to keep it simple with something like Monopoly or Jenga? We’ve got you covered. What something more modern like Catan or Ticket to ride? We’ve got those too. Want something brand spankin’ new you can’t even buy in the stores yet? WE’VE GOT THOSE TOO.\n–\nGame passes are $5/person for 2 hours and are first come first served for tables. We have lots of tools to help you choose a game (see our game picker linked below\,) learn a game without actually reading the rules (most games are stickered with a QR code that takes you to a how to play video….for those of you that hate reading rulebooks) or you can even bring in your own game/DND group/etc. Same game pass pricing applies.\n–PLUS we have snacks\, drinks\, alcohol\, cats (in their separate lounge but viewable from the cafe side through large windows) and all the good vibes.\n20% of the profits from our food\, drink and merch sales go back to our partner rescues.
