DESCRIPTION:What is this Game?\nBlood on the Clocktower is a game of murder and mystery\, lies and logic\, deduction and deception for five-to-twenty courageous players and one devious storyteller. \nA social game played in person\, seated in a circle\, each player receives either a ‘good’ or ‘evil’ token with their unique character on it. Good players share information to solve the mystery whilst evil players lie about who they are and what they know. The good team wins if they can piece together their knowledge\, trust each other\, and execute the demon. The evil team wins if the demon can sow distrust\, evade detection\, and wipe out the village. \n  \nOn the stroke of midnight…\nDuring a hellish thunderstorm\, a scream echoes through the sleepy town of Ravenswood Bluff. The townsfolk rush to investigate and find the beloved local storyteller has been murdered\, their body hanging limp from the clocktower. As blood drips onto the cobblestones below\, a realisation slowly dawns… a demon has been unleashed\, killing by night and taking on human form by day. \nCan good find the demon in time? DESCRIPTION:What You Get\nIn September our board game concierge is teaching some great games that aren’t even available for retail purchase yet and we’ll be keeping the spooky vibes strong in October with Inferno! \nEndeavor: Deep Sea was the 2025 Kennerspiel des Jahres winner! This is an award given each year to the best connoisseur board game or more complex games that are suitable for experienced gamers. \nLightning Train was pre-released at Gencon this year\, and we snagged a copy! \nInferno is a highly rated soul management game where each player must guide sinners to their respective circles in Hell. Another Gencon purchase we couldn’t resist! \nSome modern board game experience is necessary.  We will have the game setup when you arrive\, do a full teach of the rules and answer any questions along the way\, but these are much more complex games that will likely be difficult for someone brand new to the hobby. \nTicket includes full setup/teach/questions answered for the duration of the game\, your game pass for the entire day\, one free drink and a button for completing the concierge game!  You should expect any concierge game to take a minimum of 2 hours to complete. \nMore Info\nOne ticket per person. \nIt is always helpful to arrive 10-15 minutes early to park\, get your drink/snacks and get settled at your table.  Parking info can be found here. \nEndeavor: Deep Sea is currently out of stock at the publisher and Lighting Train won’t be available for retail purchase until September 30\, but you can play all of these games now at The Scratching Post and pre-order copies from us if you love them! DESCRIPTION:Our library has over 500 board games\, both classic and modern.\n–Want to keep it simple with something like Monopoly or Jenga? We’ve got you covered. What something more modern like Catan or Ticket to ride? We’ve got those too. Want something brand spankin’ new you can’t even buy in the stores yet? WE’VE GOT THOSE TOO.\n–\nGame passes are $5/person for 2 hours and are first come first served for tables. We have lots of tools to help you choose a game (see our game picker linked below\,) learn a game without actually reading the rules (most games are stickered with a QR code that takes you to a how to play video….for those of you that hate reading rulebooks) or you can even bring in your own game/DND group/etc. Same game pass pricing applies.\n–PLUS we have snacks\, drinks\, alcohol\, cats (in their separate lounge but viewable from the cafe side through large windows) and all the good vibes.\n20% of the profits from our food\, drink and merch sales go back to our partner rescues.
