We have lots of tools to help you choose a game (see our game picker linked below\,) learn a game without actually reading the rules (most games are stickered with a QR code that takes you to a how to play video….for those of you that hate reading rulebooks) or you can even bring in your own game/DND group/etc. Same game pass pricing applies.\n–PLUS we have snacks\, drinks\, alcohol\, cats (in their separate lounge but viewable from the cafe side through large windows) and all the good vibes.\n20% of the profits from our food\, drink and merch sales go back to our partner rescues. DESCRIPTION:Walk through our cafe and enjoy a collection of local art by Maryam Ghadiri. \nNo admission fee to view the art on the cafe side.  If you’d like to visit the cats in our lounge\, you can make a reservation here. \nPieces will be available for sale.  10% of each art sale is donated to our partner non-profit rescues. \nAs always\, we donate 20% of the profits from our food\, drink and merch sales back to our partner rescues.  Enjoy art\, grab a drink\, help cats. \nMaryam Ghadiri\nMaryam Ghadiri majored in engineering but has been passionate about art from a young age\, starting drawing classes at the age of 10. She later took painting lessons under a professor at Tehran University for seven years. Specializing in abstract art\, she works primarily in watercolor and mixed media. Maryam has exhibited her work in solo and group shows in Tehran\, Los Angeles\, and Urbana-Champaign. In 2020\, she won first place in the Town and Country Art Show and third place in a state competition in Illinois. \nFollow Maryam on Instagram

DESCRIPTION:Walk through our cafe and enjoy a collection of local art by Anna Spencer. \nNo admission fee to view the art on the cafe side.  If you’d like to visit the cats in our lounge\, you can make a reservation here. \nSome pieces will be available for sale.  10% of each art sale is donated to our partner non-profit rescues. \nAs always\, we donate 20% of the profits from our food\, drink and merch sales back to our partner rescues.  Enjoy art\, grab a drink\, help cats. \nAnna Spencer\nAnna Spencer is a self-taught artist painting since 2014\, known for bold colors\, abstract portraits\, and modern-inspired works. Drawing inspiration from both Illinois and Florida\, her art blends emotion\, movement\, and vibrant expression into contemporary pieces that reflect individuality and creativity. DESCRIPTION:Our library has over 500 board games\, both classic and modern.\n–Want to keep it simple with something like Monopoly or Jenga? We’ve got you covered. What something more modern like Catan or Ticket to ride? We’ve got those too. Want something brand spankin’ new you can’t even buy in the stores yet? WE’VE GOT THOSE TOO.\n–\nGame passes are $5/person for 2 hours and are first come first served for tables. We have lots of tools to help you choose a game (see our game picker linked below\,) learn a game without actually reading the rules (most games are stickered with a QR code that takes you to a how to play video….for those of you that hate reading rulebooks) or you can even bring in your own game/DND group/etc. Same game pass pricing applies.\n–PLUS we have snacks\, drinks\, alcohol\, cats (in their separate lounge but viewable from the cafe side through large windows) and all the good vibes.\n20% of the profits from our food\, drink and merch sales go back to our partner rescues.
