Trivia Night & National Cat Day Celebration!

October 29 is National Cat Day which aims to spread awareness about cat adoption.  We’re celebrating with our first ever Trivia Night and a bunch of ridiculous cat-centric festivities!

Trivia

• Teams of 6 or less
• Email info@scratchingpostcafe.com to reserve a table ahead of time, otherwise check-in starts at 6:45pm for 7pm start.
• Bonus point for your team for wearing cat themed apparel or a cat costume

Scavenger Hunt – Win the Grand Prize!

Since National Cat Day is October 29th, we’re giving away a pass worth TWENTY NINE cat lounge reservations. 🙀🙀🙀 

The Hunt will be from 2pm-10pm @The Scratching Post on Wednesday, October 29th.  Take a pic of each riddle you find.  If you manage to get through all 10 riddles, send the pics to info@scratchingpostcafe.com by 10pm.  A winner will be randomly drawn from anyone who completes the hunt…but it won’t be easy!

First Riddle: (The answer won’t be placed until 2pm on 10/29, so cool your jets and quit trying to start early.)

Play by the rules to protect this ancient feline race. With a view of the moon and stars, your boat will avoid Darkhand and dock in the next safe space. 

Fundraiser Raffle

We’ve put together a bundle of our lounge cats’ most loved scratchers/toys/treats.  All raffle ticket proceeds will be donated to our partner rescues CATsNAP and VALOR. $5/ticket or $20 for 5 tickets.  Must be 18 or older to enter.  Drawing will be held at 9:30 on Wednesday, October 29 and winner will be notified via email.  This raffle is hosted by our parent non-profit rescue, Boop Cat Rescue.  No purchase necessary to enter.  Mail in entries must be sent to PO Box 1661 Champaign, IL 61824 and must be received by 5pm on Tuesday, October 28.  Mail your name, email address and “National Cat Day Fundraiser Raffle entry” to specified address.
