Board Game Concierge Night – Learn to Play a Heavy Board Game!

This month our board game concierge is teaching some great games that aren’t even available for retail purchase yet!

Endeavor: Deep Sea was the 2025 Kennerspiel des Jahres winner! This is an award given each year to the best connoisseur board game or more complex games that are suitable for experienced gamers.

Lightning Train was pre-released at Gencon this year, and we snagged a copy!

Some modern board game experience is necessary.  We will have the game setup when you arrive, do a full teach of the rules and answer any questions along the way, but these are much more complex games that will likely be difficult for someone brand new to the hobby.

Ticket includes full setup/teach/questions answered for the duration of the game, your game pass for the rest of the night, one free drink and a button for completing the concierge game!  You should expect any concierge game to take a minimum of 2 hours to complete.

It is always helpful to arrive 10-15 minutes early to park, get your drink/snacks and get settled at your table.  Parking info can be found here.

Endeavor: Deep Sea is currently out of stock at the publisher and Lighting Train won’t be available for retail purchase until September 30, but you can play both of these games now at The Scratching Post and pre-order copies from us if you love them!
