What’s a Cat Walk Fundraiser?
Originating out of Minneapolis, a Cat Walk Fundraiser combines neighborhood pride with profound cat appreciation, all while raising funds for the shelters and organizations who work tirelessly to find cats their forever homes. Essentially, people sign up to enjoy a stroll through a cat saturated neighborhood while people show off their furry roommates from windows, screened in porches, etc.
If you’ve ever wanted your cat to be a celebrity, or you love seeing people’s cats in windows and think “what’s their deal?” this is your moment!
- Wear cat stuff
- Make a cat themed sign
- Bring a camera/binoculars
- Bring friends
- Wear comfy shoes
- Enthusiastic cat whimsy encouraged!
Want to add your cat to the map or join the walk?
We will notify you if your cat ends up being within the walk area.
