New York Noir – Walk & Solve Mystery Night!
What is this?
Do you enjoy murder mysteries? Ever play Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective?
Well you’re in luck because New York Noir is a locally designed game that will scratch that same itch and for one night only, the designer is turning The Scratching Post’s cafe into part of the game!
The designer, Jesse Reichler, will get you started on the case. Walk around the cafe, follow up on leads, explore “locations” for clues, and see if you can solve the murder!
Want to write your own case?
Jesse will be at the cafe to answer questions about the game and how to write your very own murder case for others to play using the New York Noir world! There is also lots of info to get you started on the New York Noir website here.

This is a free event on our cafe side, separate from the cat lounge. If you’d like to visit the cats, you can make a reservation here.
As always, we donate 20% of the profits from the food, drinks (including alcohol!) and merch that we sell back to our partner non-profit rescues. Solve a murder, enjoy a drink, help cats!
